Mery Lorenzo is the Broker and Owner of Mindful Realty, where she leads a growing team of real estate professionals committed to helping buyers, sellers, and investors make confident and informed decisions. With more than two decades of real estate experience, Mery combines market knowledge, financial expertise, strong negotiation skills, and a client-first approach to deliver thoughtful guidance throughout every stage of a transaction.

Mery began her real estate career in 2002 and later expanded her experience into real estate asset management, property valuation, sales, leasing, and portfolio oversight. During the 2008 housing crisis, she worked extensively with distressed real estate, including bank-owned properties, short sales, loan modifications, and foreclosure-related asset disposition. This experience gave her a deep understanding of challenging markets, property values, negotiations, and the many financial factors that affect homeowners and investors.

Her professional background also includes accounting, finance, mortgage lending, collateral management, auditing, and business operations. This broad experience allows her to look beyond the transaction and help clients understand the long-term financial impact of buying, selling, and investing in real estate. She is known for being analytical, detail-oriented, solution-focused, and a strong negotiator who works diligently to protect her clients’ interests.

Mery earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida International University in 2006 and a Master of Science in International Real Estate from FIU in 2021. She is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. Her education and professional experience allow her to bring a valuable combination of real estate, accounting, finance, and lending knowledge to every client relationship.

In 2017, Mery founded Mindful Realty with the goal of creating a brokerage centered on education, integrity, communication, and meaningful service. Under her leadership, the company has grown into a diverse and bilingual organization serving families, homeowners, and investors throughout South Florida. She is passionate about training and empowering real estate professionals while helping clients use homeownership and real estate investing as tools for building long-term and generational wealth.

Mery is fluent in English and Spanish and is especially committed to making the real estate process easier to understand. Whether a client is purchasing a first home, selling a property, building an investment portfolio, or navigating a complex real estate situation, she provides clear guidance, honest communication, and personalized support.

Outside of real estate, Mery is a devoted mother of three daughters. She enjoys traveling, boating, painting, yoga, and spending time with her family, business partners and friends.
